Aug. 8: Wild about Water
Welcome to Naturally Kids, a hands-on nature discovery program for children with disabilities ages 5 to 12. Children with any disability and their families are invited to connect with nature through fun monthly activities at Fort Snelling State Park in St. Paul. Check out the summer events!*
A Master Naturalist volunteer will present and lead activities; however, adults must stay to supervise and assist as needed. Participants should dress for the weather; we'll be having fun outside part of the time! Space is limited.
Registration is required so we can plan appropriately. If a sign language interpreter is needed, please send the request to naturallykids@gmail.com at least two weeks before the event.
Participants should meet at the Fort Snelling State Park visitor center.
The activity is free to attend, but a State Park vehicle permit is required ($5 per day or $25 per year). For information on accessibility at the park, please visit dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/fort_snelling/program.html.
